Vietcombank and Hoan Kiem Ward host “Ma Dao” painting exhibition to welcome Spring 2026

Vietcombank, in coordination with the Hoan Kiem Ward People’s Committee, is hosting a painting exhibition titled “Ma Dao” to welcome the Spring of Binh Ngo 2026. The exhibition runs from January 15 to February 28, 2026, at the Hoan Kiem Lake area along Le Thai To Street in Hà Nội.

A spring cultural space bridging tradition and modernity

Designed as a cultural space for the early days of the Tet (Lunar New Year), the exhibition connects traditional values with contemporary life. It draws inspiration from the image of the horse - a zodiac animal deeply associated with Vietnamese history, culture and spiritual life.

The theme “Ma Dao,” derived from the traditional expression “mã đáo thành công,” symbolises the belief that success comes through perseverance, sustained effort and the completion of a meaningful journey. Linked to the Year of the Horse, the theme conveys a positive cultural message of new beginnings, momentum and aspiration, while highlighting the enduring connection between cultural roots and the community’s path of development in a new era.

Through 31 paintings centred on the image of the “Noble Horse,” the exhibition presents a continuous narrative journey across three thematic sections: History and Legend; Culture and Belief; and Trade and Development. Each section reflects different dimensions of the horse as a cultural symbol - from its presence in folklore and spiritual life to its role in exchange, movement and progress.

Vietcombank partners with local authorities in cultural and community activities

Beyond its core business activities, Vietcombank has consistently aligned its operations with social responsibility. In recent years, the bank has actively supported and participated in numerous cultural and social programmes at both national and local levels, alongside the implementation of practical social welfare initiatives.

The “Ma Dao” painting exhibition stands out as a meaningful cultural highlight of Spring Binh Ngo 2026 in Hà Nội. By presenting traditional values through a modern and accessible artistic language, the exhibition helps bring national culture closer to the public, fostering pride and awareness of preserving Việt Nam’s cultural identity.

The collaboration between Vietcombank and the Hoan Kiem Ward People’s Committee further demonstrates the effectiveness of partnerships between businesses and local authorities in serving the community, contributing to the development of an urban cultural space that is distinctive, humane and sustainable.

The exhibition features immersive experience areas that harmoniously combine traditional artistic language with contemporary expression, offering the public a closer and more engaging approach to national culture
