Vietcombank’s charitable journey brings a warm Tet to communities nationwide

In the lead-up to the Lunar New Year, Vietcombank carried out a series of meaningful social welfare programmes across multiple localities, bringing practical support and festive warmth to disadvantaged communities throughout the country.

Spreading Tet warmth in Dong Thap Province

On January 31, 2026, Vietcombank joined a central delegation led by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man on a visit to Dong Thap Province to extend Tet greetings.

In Ba Sao Commune, the bank presented 100 gift packages to armed forces personnel, policy beneficiary families, people with meritorious service to the nation, poor households and workers facing difficult circumstances.

Earlier, the bank had handed over a “Military–Civilian Gratitude House” and organised visits and gift-giving trips for wounded soldiers’ families and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in border communes across Tay Ninh.

Supporting the nation’s frontlines and future generations

In HCM City, Le Hoang Tung, Deputy General Director of Vietcombank, represented the bank in donating VND2 billion to the city’s funds “For the Homeland’s Seas and Islands – For the Nation’s Frontlines” and “For the Poor”. The contributions aim to improve living conditions for residents and support forces working day and night to safeguard national sovereignty.
