On the morning of September 15, 2024, during the Opening Ceremony for the 2024-2025 academic year at the Academy of Finance, a representative from Vietcombank presented scholarships totaling VND200 million to the students.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Deputy Minister of Finance Le Tan Can, along with leaders from the ministry’s various units, representatives from several embassies, partners, and the entire staffs, faculties, and students of the Academy.

Master Le Hoang Tung, Deputy General Director of Vietcombank, presented scholarships worth VND200 million to students of the Academy of Finance for the 2024-2025 academic year. This contribution is part of a cooperation program spanning from 2023 to 2027 between Vietcombank and the Academy, which includes a total scholarship fund of VND1 billion over five years (VND10 million per scholarship for outstanding students).

During the previous cooperation period from 2018 to 2023, Vietcombank awarded VND1.1 billion in scholarships to top-performing students at the Academy of Finance. The bank also facilitated internships and recruited hundreds of students, including several exceptional graduates, to join Vietcombank. Additionally, Vietcombank enhanced student access to modern banking services by opening accounts, issuing linked cards, and providing access to the VCB Digibank application for nearly 14,000 students. Notably, in 2023, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Academy of Finance and the launch of the "Heart – Talent - Integrity" Scholarship Fund, Vietcombank and the Academy of Finance’s alumni contributed VND1.4 billion to the Fund.

Over the years, Vietcombank has consistently recruited many graduates from the Academy of Finance. Currently, more than 1,200 Academy alumni are employed across the Vietcombank system, with approximately 230 holding leadership and management roles at various levels.
