FAQs

  • 1. I received a notification message during a credit card transaction saying it is a provisional available credit limit. Can you explain this to me?
To assist customers with multiple credit cards at VCB, each with interconnected credit limits, VCB provides information on the available temporary credit limit that customers can use.

For example, if a customer is assigned an overall credit limit of 100 million VND for credit card issuance, consisting of one Visa Platinum card with a limit of 100 million VND and one JCB Gold card with a limit of 70 million VND, and the customer has already spent 50 million VND on the Visa card, the available credit limit will be 50 million VND. If the customer continues to spend 5 million VND using the JCB card, the available credit limit will be 45 million VND (although the initial limit on the JCB card is 70 million VND, the customer has only utilized 5 million VND on this card).
  • 2. Why have my linked cards on the MOCA application been temporarily locked?
To prevent potential fraudulent activities on your MOCA account for payments, MOCA will temporarily lock linked cards in the following cases:

    1. Changing your mobile phone.
    2. Entering the wrong user password five (5)times.

In these cases, to re-verify the cards, you'll need to provide the card number and OTP sent to your registered phone. For assistance, contact the VCB/MOCA hotline. This ensures secure transactions through the MOCA app.
  • 3. I didn't receive the OTP to link my card. What should I do?

In this case, you need to check the following points:

-Ensure that the phone with the MOCA app is working properly and has an internet connection.
-Check if you have registered for SMS Banking with VCB (Note: OTP will be sent to the phone number you registered to receive OTP from VCB).
-Ensure that the phone with the registered SIM for receiving OTP is working properly.
-If the issue persists, you can call the MOCA hotline (1900 6923) or VCB's hotline (1900 54 54 13) for further assistance.
