FAQs list for Cards

To ensure the security of card transactions at ATMs, according to the regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam regarding strict supervision of cash withdrawal transactions at night, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily, customers can only perform up to 02 cash withdrawal transactions when using other banks’ ATMs.

However, at Vietcombank's ATMs, there is no limitations on the number of transactions.

Customers can easily check the remaining credit limit of their credit card through the following methods:

Option 1: Send an SMS with the content "HM" to the hotline 6167. (Please not that customers need to register for SMS Banking service with Vietcombank).

Option 2: Check the most recent notification message (SMS/OTT) from Vietcombank when the customer makes a card payment. The notification will contain information about the amount paid and the remaining credit limit of the card.

In the event that you, as a cardholder issued by another bank, encounter an issue at VCB's ATM where the transaction is unsuccessful but your account is still debited, we recommend that you contact your card issuing bank’s customer service to initiate a reconciliation process.

If the beneficiary account at another bank has not received the funds, please check your account balance on VCB Digibank. If the customers’ account has been debited, please contact VCB for assistance through the following methods:

- Visit any Vietcombanks’ transaction offcies/branches of
- Contact customer support center at 1900 54 54 13
- Submit a reconciliation request through VCB Digibank.

If you are a VCB cardholder, you can transfer funds using the ATM through the following methods:

1. Transfer money from card to account:
+ Transfer within bank: You can transfer funds to another VCB account using the VCB ATM or other banks’ ATM..
+ Domestic fund transfer: You cannot make transfers to accounts at other banks through the ATM. If you wish to perform this transaction, please do it on VCB Digibank App or website.

2. Transfer from Card to Card: You can transfer money to the card number of another bank on VCB's ATM

In this case, please ask the merchant to check and call the MOCA hotline at 1900 6923 for assistance.

The QR code cash withdrawal service on VCB ATMs does not allow cash withdrawals at ATMs of other banks.

You should immediately notify VCB via the hotline number (1900 54 54 13) or MOCA hotline number (1900 6923) to lock the card/user on the MOCA application and/or lock the card on all transaction channels if necessary.

a. When linking the VCB card to the MOCA app, customers need to enter the OTP (One-Time Password) sent by VCB via SMS to the registered phone number for receiving SMS OTP at VCB.

b. For VCB card payment transactions on the MOCA application:
- For transactions above 1,000,000 VND: Customers need to enter the OTP sent by VCB via SMS to the registered phone number for receiving SMS OTP at VCB.

- For transactions equal to or below 1,000,000 VND: No authentication is required (*).

(*) The authentication method requirements may vary based on the policies of the MOCA app in different periods.
