Vietcombank continues to strengthen its position in the global market, earning recognition from leading international financial institutions for its superior operational quality and payment efficiency.

On April 20, 2026, Vietcombank was awarded the “Operational Excellence Award 2024–2025” by Wells Fargo (the US), acknowledging its outstanding capabilities in global payments operations and liquidity management. The award highlights key performance indicators, including a high straight-through processing (STP) rate, efficient book transfer performance, and a low level of payment investigations.

Earlier, in October 2025, Vietcombank also received an international payment quality award from JPMorgan Chase, with its STP rate reaching nearly absolute levels - close to 100 per cent for MT202 messages and 99.69 per cent for MT103 transactions.

Such recognition from top-tier US banks underscores that Vietcombank’s technological capabilities, data quality, and operational processes meet the highest international standards. In particular, as the global financial system accelerates its transition to the ISO 20022 standard, the bank’s ability to maintain stable and accurate processing performance further affirms its robust technology foundation.

According to Wells Fargo, correspondent banks play a crucial role in facilitating cross-border payments, promoting trade, and advancing financial inclusion. Vietcombank has been highly regarded for its ability to deliver fast, transparent, and reliable payment services to clients across multiple markets.

Notably, Vietcombank has maintained an almost perfect STP rate for several consecutive years, enabling international transactions to be processed automatically in line with ISO 20022 standards, minimising errors and enhancing customer experience. This has been a key factor in helping the bank sustain its position among regional leaders in international payment efficiency.

Consistent recognition from leading global financial institutions over the years not only reflects Vietcombank’s growing reputation, but also reinforces its pioneering role in international payments in Việt Nam - setting benchmarks for quality and deeper global integration.
