Starting August 27, 2024, Vietcombank is introducing a new feature on the VCB Digibank app that allows customers to buy SJC gold bars with ease.

With this new option, Vietnamese individuals using the VCB Digibank digital banking app can now purchase SJC gold bars quickly, safely, and conveniently through just a few simple steps:

• Choose the quantity, pickup location, and time for collecting the gold bars based on current regulations.

• Review and update your personal information displayed on the transaction screen.

• Complete the payment for the gold bars directly within the VCB Digibank app and receive an electronic invoice via the email address registered with VCB Digibank.

• Get confirmation of your appointment with detailed information about the time and location for gold bar pickup via an OTT message or email linked to your VCB Digibank account.

Transaction guidelines:

• This feature is available to Vietnamese individuals using the VCB Digibank app who have an active VND payment account with Vietcombank.
• To access the service, customers must update the VCB Digibank application to version 5.8.8.
• Gold purchases can be scheduled and paid for through the VCB Digibank app between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays.
• Please do not use an overdraft limit to make payments for gold purchases.
• When picking up your gold at the scheduled location, be sure to present your ID and the gold purchase transaction code (reference number) sent to you by Vietcombank via OTT message or email.
• Starting August 27, 2024, Vietcombank will no longer offer gold bar purchase scheduling on the Vietcombank website or gold bar payment transactions at the counter.

Vietcombank hopes that the new SJC gold bar purchase feature on the VCB Digibank app will allow customers to complete transactions anytime, anywhere using their mobile phones, saving time and avoiding counter visits.
